GMC has introduced a new Hummer EV Pickup overlander concept. The Hummer EV EarthCruiser is its official name and is in partnership with Australian-based EarthCruiser. They are known for making durable vehicles capable of rough terrains and extended stays.
The debut of the Hummer EV EarthCruiser will happen on Friday, at the 2023 Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, Colorado.
GMC has created a super cool new Hummer EV Pickup concept, with a carbon fibre roof house that is totally awesome! While they aren’t planning to produce this exact version, a similar model will be available soon at EarthCruiser. If you’re interested, you can reserve yours now. Pricing hasn’t been released yet.
This fancy house on the roof is 90 inches tall when flat, or 117 inches when fully extended. It’s super efficient too, with solar panels and a 6.0-kwh battery that can keep you powered for up to seven days. That means you can have your fridge running non-stop, even off-grid.
A house on wheels with all the modern amenities like a king-size bed and a stylish kitchen, plus a nifty foldable loo and an al fresco shower – perfect for overlanders who prefer off-the-grid adventures. With electric SUVs and pickups revving up the game, this trendy trend is catching fire!
The new Hummer EV is giving overlanders an exciting opportunity to navigate tough terrain easily with its precise torque control. The battery powers up all devices needed for a comfortable camping experience. With solar panels, the battery can be recharged anytime under the sun.
For 2024, the Hummer EV Pickup is back with a better range of 381 miles, and an SUV body style has been added with a range of 314 miles. With pricing starting at $100,395 for the SUV and $106,945 for the Pickup (including destination fees), GMC has stopped taking new orders due to overwhelming demand.
